Project Overview

The Seidels wanted a pool that their family could enjoy but also create spaces throughout the yard for sun bathing and entertaining.  They also wanted to have a natural look and feel but also bring out touches of elegance that enhanced the architecture of their home.

The free form design creates enough space and length to include a sloped entry into the pool so there are no steps.  We designed a sun deck to the rear of the pool with the only access to it created by walking “through” the pool across some faux rock “floating steps.”

We then accented various spots around the pool with fiberglass cast rock to balance the floating steps and give the pool that natural flair.

The PebbleTec Black Marble interior finish also works well with a very natural feel and adds tremendous warmth and durability.

Sprinkled around the pool are a variety of water features: There is a five foot wide Rain Descent above the spa, two 12 inch wide rain descents at the rear of the pool, two Jandy Deck Jet LED lit laminars, and 8 Polaris deck jets.  When they are all on, this is one extreme water feature!

So that you can see this water feature at night we have various lights throughout as well.  There is a color light in the spa, two in the pool and then color lights by Nexxus lighting in the shallow end and in the attached water feature.

The one inch amber glass tile adds to the ambiance and lighting effect while the custom made urn adds to the water feature elements.

This pool is completely powered and automated by Jandy/Zodiac Pool Products with multiple boards for all of the features and five Jandy variable speed ePumps that help with energy efficiency as well as regulating the water flow to all of the water features!
